Start with a clear title
Say what needs doing in a few words. "Mount a 65 inch TV on a brick wall" gets better offers than "Need help". Taskers scan titles first, so make yours specific.
Describe the job
- What exactly needs doing, and how big the job is
- What you'll supply, like parts, paint or products
- Access: stairs, parking, pets or gate codes (share codes privately later)
- Any must haves, like a ute, your own tools or a licence
Add photos
Photos answer most questions before they are asked. A quick picture of the space, the item or the problem leads to more accurate offers.
Set a fair budget
Check our cost guides to see what similar tasks cost. A realistic budget attracts experienced taskers. You can still accept a different offer.
Pick the right date
Choose a date, a deadline or "I'm flexible". Flexible tasks often get more offers.
Keep contact details private
Don't put phone numbers or emails in the description. Once you assign someone, you can chat privately and share the exact address.
Frequently asked questions
Many tasks get their first offer within an hour. Popular categories are often faster.
